Earmuffs. Television. The Popsicle. Water skis. What do they have in common? All were invented by kids! 500,000 children and teens invent gadgets and games each year. The Kid Inventors' Day date in America is based on Ben Franklin’s birthday because he invented the first swim flippers almost 300 years ago at age 12. Come celebrate Kid Inventors' day at the Museum by inventing an “Impossible Machine” in either of the Museum’s studio spaces.
