Instructor Bio: An informal arts and sciences educator through and through, Miss Alex has worked in zoos, museums, and after school programs across the country. After teaching and developing curriculum for Toddler Time at the Queens Zoo in New York, and spending the summer of 2017 in summer camp at the Portland Children’s Museum, she is excited to create a new community of Early Explorers at Portland Children’s Museum. In Miss Alex’s free time, she is co-creating an educational musical web series (with puppets!) that encourages exploration and imagination.
