Sunday, May 11
Free admission just for Mom! Bring your loved ones and a Tee-Shirt to the grooviest celebration in town…a Tie-Dye Tee-Party!

  • Tie Dye
    10am – 4pm in Wonder Corner
    All ages. $2 per creation, plus Museum admission or membership.
    Bring your loved ones and their Tee-Shirts to the grooviest celebration in town…a Tie-Dye Tee-Party!

  • Sensory Kitchen
    10:15 – 11am in Wonder Corner
    Ages 2 – 4. $2 per child, plus Museum admission or membership. Reserve your spot at the box office. Space is limited to 10 children.

    Get your senses cooking in this program that focuses on mixing, chopping, preparing, and stirring a variety of food-like materials. Meet other parents and preschoolers while our studio artists guide you through this goopy, messy fun.

  • Dino Buddies
    12:30 – 2pm in Wonder Corner
    Age 2 and up. $2 per creation, plus Museum admission or membership.
    Younger hands design and arrange materials while older hands help sew and attach. Together, we will fill with stuffing for a cozy soft Dino Buddy.

Target Free Friday presented by the Standard
May 23 - September 1
  • Become a dinosaur and journey through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods; then discover evidence of *dinosaur doings* in the present-time as Junior Paleontologists!

    Winding passageways of the dinosaur-themed maze set the stage and begin a journey through the dramatic mountainscape. Each "experience gallery" features vivid murals and hands-on, interactive fun!

    • Making Tracks in the Triassic — Slip on full size dinosaur feet and make your own “dino prints” in the ground.
    • Grab on, push off and glide through the Jurassic.
    • Create in the cretaceous — Make your own dinosaurs by experimenting with different features including teeth, tails, plates, wings, feather, heads, bodies, legs, and tails.
    • Climb though time by traversing the Soil Stratification Climbing Wall.

Opening Celebration, Friday, May 23!

Be sure to visit the studios for gigantic fun and imagination. Create your own prehistoric paper puppet then cast its shadow onto the wall to act out your own Dino Drama! Excavate for bones in clay and add teeth, claws, and spines (oh my!) to the giant dino, Construct-O-Saurus!

    Dino Buddies

    Younger hands design and arrange materials while older hands help sew and attach. Fill with stuffing and you’ve crafted a cozy soft dino buddy to take home.
    Excavate for Buried Bones
    10am – 4pm in Clay Studio
    All ages. Free with Museum admission or membership.
    Imagine yourself a paleontologist as you excavate the Clay Studio for evidence from the prehistoric past.
    Construct-o-Saurus
    10am – 4pm in Garage
    Age 5 and up. Free with Museum admission or membership.
    Use recycled materials to add fearsome features to our giant paper mache dino, Construct-o-Saurus!
    Dino Dramas
    1 – 4pm in Wonder Corner
    All ages. Free with Museum admission or membership.
    Add teeth, claws and spines to your own pre-historic paper puppet. Bring your creation to life when you cast its shadow onto the wall to act out your very own Dino Drama.

Exhibits

Building Bridgetown Exhibit
Come join the crew!!! In our hands-on 17-foot-high, 2 story house. Kids can panel a wall, connect plumbing fixtures, take measurements, lay sod, and build with blocks on our custom-designed building table featuring recessed lighting and mirrors.

Water Works Exhibit
Crank, funnel, pour, squirt, measure, float! Redirect water and see what happens. The better and wetter Water Works features a 12-foot high waterfall, a hand-cranked "conveyor belt" that carries water in whimsical recycled objects like mugs, kitchen tools, and even an old shoe.

      The Museum is humming with creativity Tuesday-Sunday!
    • The Garage is OPEN!!! 10am-4pm, Friday - Saturday - Sunday
      Turn trash into treasures! For ages 5 and up, the Garage, our recycled art studio, is stocked with organized bins of recycled materials, a hot glue gun, a drill (a supervisor), and plenty of inspiration!
    • Storytime/Tales for Tots: Daily 11 am & 2 pm, Tuesday-Sunday
      Activate your imagination while our expert storytellers grab your attention and lead you on a journey through a favorite book. Treehouse Adventure is a perfect place to relax and just listen, or jump up and down with the action in the story!
    • Clay Glazing: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday 2-4:00 pm
      Visit the most fun paint-your-own-pottery studio in town! Glaze already-fired bisque items, such as picture frames, plates, bowls, cups, ornaments and more, or make your own masterpiece! Please allow a week for pick-up, bisque is available for purchase.

Individuals 16 and older who are unaccompanied by children are welcome to visit the Museum with a paid admission. They must sign in, leave valid photo identification at the Admissions Desk, and wear a badge for the duration of their visit. Thank you for your cooperation.
