The Dorothea Lensch:
Play It Again Theater

This theater is never “dark!” Between performances by storytellers, musicians and puppeteers, the kids direct all the action! Spend any time in this theater and children who have never met are creating plays and staging performances! Kids sit in the director’s chair and run the show. There is a real ticket booth, stage props, costumes, light and sound board. Seating for 110 on carpeted risers make this a great spot for resting grown-ups, too!

Climb inside a mini-ambulance, or operate the emergency dispatch-center. Use puppets to talk about feelings and creative ways to manage anger, frustration or loss. Find fascinating views of hair, bugs and skin under a microscope. Kids can pull on scrubs and role-play over the operation table puzzle. Take a picture of yourself, print it on the computer and then write or draw about why your features are so splendid!
