The Oregon Zoo and Portland Children’s Museum are “zooming” in to look at animals through the lenses of both art and science. Explore the artistic side of nature and spend half of the day at Portland’s Children’s Museum using paint, drawing, and other art media to explore what makes a habitat. Spend the rest of the day at the Zoo learning about all the animals that call different habitats home.
Take a close look at feathers, fur and scales during a half day at the zoo and a half day at Portland Children's Museum. Touch and feel different critter coverings and discover how feathers, fur and scales help animals live. Meet a special animal guest each day and be inspired to create your own touch and feel book.
Please note: Campers will remain with the same staff throughout the week. Both Portland Children’s Museum and Zoo members will receive member discount.
