Saturday, August 26 from 9:15-10:45 a.m.
Children and caregivers will work together to create a unique pot for flowers and plants out of traditional red clay. Learn techniques for coil pots, pinch pots, and slab construction, and then choose the best method for your project. These projects will be fired but not glazed. Unglazed terra cotta is very porous, allowing it to breathe and absorb water to keep your plant hydrated and healthy. With exclusive access to the Clay Studio, don’t miss this special opportunity to play, make, and share at Portland Children’s Museum.
Price: $30 (members), $35 (non-members).
