Opal School 2012-2013 Mentorship Program

Mentorship Program
October 2012 – June 2013

Educators at the 2011 Symposium The Mentorship program supports teachers seeking an in-depth experience of observation and reflection within Opal School’s preschool – 5th grade classrooms. The program allows participants to flexibly design a series of visitations to Opal classrooms in session throughout the school year.  This provides an opportunity for extended exposure to inquiry based approaches to teaching and learning through the arts and sciences.  The program also includes participation in a series of Center workshops, summer symposium and seminars focused on strategies for mentoring colleagues.
