      Garage Junior - Tuesday, January 6th

      Sign up for Garage Junior series January 6th (10:15-11:00am). Ages 2-4.

      • In this special garage workshop children will get to work with a variety of safe tools and recycled materials. Caregivers are encouraged to work along side their children and no one leaves empty handed!

      Cost is $3 per session for members; $4 per session for non-members.

      FREE - Potter's Wheel - Wednesday, January 7th

      Potter's Wheel in the Clay Studio (2:00-4:00pm). All Ages.

      • Watch as our fabulous studio artists change the shape of clay with their hands at the Potter's Wheel. Take a turn and slip your fingers into the moving clay as you try to throw a small cup or bowl.

      FREE - Art at Home - Thursday, January 8th

      Art at Home in the Wonder Corner (9:30-10:00am). All Ages.

      • Our fantastic studio team will guide you through simply art activities that you can easily replicate in your own home. Learn tips and tricks on how not to make a mess or break the bank on art supplies, all while you and your child are exploring new and familiar materials.

    Special Note:

    Since Holiday Breakfast with Bob was cancelled, here are your options for your unused tickets:

    You can:

    • Turn your unused ticket into a tax-deductible donation to the Museum. Please email your name, seating time and date to ianderson@portlandcm.org for a tax receipt;
    • You can use each ticket for a Museum admission;
    • We will give you a refund! Just mail your tickets back to PCM, or if you purchased your tickets by credit card and you kept your receipt, bring it in and we can credit your account. If you mail the tickets back to us, please include a self-addressed envelope.

      Bob the Builder™-Project:Build It

      Exhibit Open Now through January 19th, 2009

      Whether it’s digging, lifting or hauling, Bob the Builder™ needs you!

      Bob the Builder™ and his Can-Do Crew invite aspiring builders and their families to help get the job done.

      This 2,500 square-foot hands-on exhibit is inspired by HIT Entertainment’s top-rated television series, Bob the Builder™.

      It replicates elements from Bob the Builder’s world, inviting exploration, inspiring teamwork and bringing environmentally friendly themes to life for children and families.

      Our brand new Caterpillar Café is now open!

      AND…There is no longer a need to drool over the strangely real food in the Museum's Grasshopper Grocery and Butterfly Bistro!

      You can now enjoy Bob’s Builder Sandwich, and other fresh food and snacks, at the new Caterpillar Café. Answering the call for fresh food options we are partnering with the owners of Coffee's On to bring salads, sandwiches, baked items, tea, coffee and more to your Museum experience. The café uses local products such as Sunshine Dairy milk and yogurt, Longbottom Coffee & Tea, Pizza Schmizza, Cookie Monkey, and Marsee Bakery.

Admission

$8.00 for ages 1 - 54
$7.00 for 55 & up
$7.00 with Military ID
Members and children under one admitted free
$2 per car parking fee, payable at Front Desk (members free)

Individuals 16 and older who are unaccompanied by children are welcome to visit the Museum with a paid admission. They must sign in, leave valid photo identification at the Admissions Desk, and wear a badge for the duration of their visit. Thank you for your cooperation.
