Opal School Mentorship Program

October 2013 – June 2014

The Mentorship Program supports teachers seeking an in-depth experience of observation and reflection within Opal School’s preschool – 5th grade classrooms. The program allows participants to flexibly design a series of visitations to Opal classrooms in session throughout the school year. This provides an opportunity for extended exposure to inquiry-based approaches to teaching and learning through the arts and sciences. The program also includes participation in a series of Center workshops, summer symposium, and seminars focused on developing a culture of teacher research.
