Ruth Shelly joined Portland Children's Museum as Executive Director in 2013. A lifelong museum professional, she has worked as an exhibit director and administrator in museums across the country. From 2003 to 2013, she served as executive director for Madison Children’s Museum.
As a member of the Museum's leadership team, he also actively represents the Museum on several city committees relating to the park lands and neighborhood associations surrounding the Museum's Washington Park location.
A core member of the Museum leadership since 2001, Susan is deeply committed to approaches to public education that honor the rights of children as citizens and support visibility of their tremendous creative capacities.
Jeremiah Sazdanoff began his professional journey working at a preschool for four years while obtaining his BFA from Arizona State University. After graduating, Jeremiah traveled the world and taught English to children in Prague, Czech Republic. Jeremiah then found his true calling in the children’s museum field, where he could combine his love for visual arts, early learning, and purposeful play.
Somya Singh knew early on that she wanted to follow her curiosity and create things as her lifelong mission.
Since 2009, Brenda has drawn on her extensive experience and MBA from University of Portland to keep the Museum running smoothly.
